THE HIDDEN SPRINGS IDAHO ORCHARD

The orchard trees are full of delicious fruit and many are ready for harvest.  If you have an “adopted” tree in the orchard, remember to harvest your fruit or consider offering “fruit for the picking” to friends and neighbors!
The HSTA office will be updating the orchard map, re-tagging each tree for easy identification and preparing a list of “ready to adopt” trees. If you would like to adopt a tree this year, please feel free to stop by the HSTA Office!

SAFETY INFORMATION

The orchard is watered with reused wastewater from out treatment facility, While the water is safe to use and is treated under strict guidelines from the Department of Environmental Quality is is still a good idea to avoid direct contact with the irrigation water. Please avoid letting children or pets play in the orchard while irrigation is underway.

For now the trees in the orchard are struggling to survive and grow into strong healthy trees, until that time arrives please do not climb in the trees, you never know when a branch will snap and a child or adult may fall out of the tree and injure themselves..

Exposed irrigation heads may be hidden among the tall field grasses that call the orchard home. Please be cognizant of this when utilizing the orchard for recreational activities.
